Fees & Rebates

Life Design Therapy Co provides Occupational Therapy services for adults through a variety of schemes and rebate options, including NDIS, My Aged Care, Medicare, private health insurance. We also service clients directly via self-referral. Further details can be found below.

Fee Schedule

The Occupational Therapy hourly rate is $193.99 per hour or part thereof, inclusive of travel. Terms are strictly 7 days.

NDIS:

Self-Managed participants: invoices are sent directly to the participant or their plan nominee. There is no out of pocket gap.

Plan-Managed participants: invoices are sent directly to the participant's Plan Manager. There is no out of pocket gap.

Medicare:

We accept Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) subsidy as part of a Team Care Arrangement, which entitles you to 5 allied health sessions annually. A referral and a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP are required to claim this rebate; the Occupational Therapy item number is 10958. There will be an additional cost to the individual.

For example, a 1-hour Occupational Therapy assessment through Life Design Therapy Co, at rate of $193.99 per hour would cost:

Rebate: $53.80

Gap: $140.91

Private Health Insurance:

Many private health insurance providers offer rebates for Occupational Therapy through ancillary cover.  We advise you check with your insurance provider regarding your cover and eligibility.

We require direct payment for service which can be completed via the invoice you will be issued. We can provide a receipt as required.

We provide a direct fee for service.
